Guest guest
unfort, you may be in for a bigger surprise, most people put on quite a bit of weight, i went from 110lb to 175lbs in just 3-4 months, i would kill to weigh 115!! i would suggest right now to start eating healthy, no sugar, eat protein/carbs and exercise. make sure your dr gves you enough meds to get your free T3 and T4 in the upper range. since i have increased my dose of armour to 3.75g i have lost 13lbs i am finally under 150. plus when you get older you have a harder time losing the weight. I wish you the best and hope you do not gain anymore. http://www.thyroid-info.com/articles/losingweight.htm renee > > Hi everyone, > I have had my thyroid completly removed last month. Guest guest
I'm not trying to be selfish but if it makes you feel any better, I weighed more than 115 in the 3rd grade. You're fine. Don't worry, just eat salads/no dressing. ) wrote: unfort, you may be in for a bigger surprise, most people put on quite a bit of weight, i went from 110lb to 175lbs in just 3-4 months, i would kill to weigh 115!! i would suggest right now to start eating healthy, no sugar, eat protein/carbs and exercise. make sure your dr gves you enough meds to get your free T3 and T4 in the upper range. since i have increased my dose of armour to 3.75g i have lost 13lbs i am finally under 150. plus when you get older you have a harder time losing the weight. Guest guest
Sounds great. I run about 25 min a day and do hand weights 3x a week, yoga 3 times a week and crunches, squats, etc and haven’t been able to lose an ounce since I switched to armour in October... I am on 90 mg armour and .56 mg of straignt levoxyl too - What dose did you start on and how long to work up to the 3.75 of armour. How are your labs? It’s always good to see someone who can lose weight with hypo! Sue > How long did it take you to lose the 13lb? it only took about4 weeks. Guest guest
Sue: I've decided the 62.5 mcgs were not enough after 45 days...so I'm going for the next easy split...which is like 71.25 mcgs. I'll call it 70 for short. So that makes me 70/75... (70 mcgs synthetic/75 mgs Armour). I'm driving hard back to the vities and the protein shakes as soon as I score a good ice chopping blender. I have started the isocort again...since a lot of those so called adrenal supplements give me a headache. I tend to get lots of zits...but I'm hoping I can counter it..and get working out so I can get my back spasms off-loaded. THEY are just killer...even with my lovely new mattress. My friend just added t4 to her armour three weeks ago...AFTER many months of vertigo. NOW...the vertigo is gone!!!! Good job...someone told her to take the t4. My new laptop has got fruit on it. Anyone know why they sent me remote with it? The bag is kinda big....but I don't know if I can get a smaller one...or if I can sell this one. ITS way bigger than this little laptop. ~E:) --- JustYourTypeDTP justyourtypedtp@...> wrote: > Sounds great. > I run about 25 min a day and do hand weights 3x a > week, yoga 3 times a week > and crunches, > squats, etc and haven¹t been able to lose an ounce > since I switched to > armour in October... > I am on 90 mg armour and .56 mg of straignt levoxyl > too - > What dose did you start on and how long to work up > to the 3.75 of armour. > How are your labs? > It¹s always good to see someone who can lose weight > with hypo! > Sue > > > On 12/29/06 11:02 PM, " " > rhoneycutt21@...> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > >> > How long did it take you to lose the 13lb? > > > > it only took about4 weeks. Guest guest
i started at 60mg, and worked my way up slowly, i started taking A in May 06 you need to stay at each dose increase about 4 wks, depending on your symt and temps. i started working out in May of 04 , i had lost the 25lbs and i think most of that was because i changed my eating habits, after that i did not lose any weight although i got stronger, it was very depressing, my temps were about 97.4-97.6 which is not good for weight loss, when i got to 3.25g my temps started coming up, the last labs i had my TSH was 0.50 and my Frees were mid range, i need to work on getting my Frees in the upper range. if you increase to fast or by to much at a time it can give you hyper sym. i tried going from 3.0 to 3.5 and had to back down to 3.0 for a few days and then i increased by .25g at a time i hope this helps. renee > > Sounds great. > I run about 25 min a day and do hand weights 3x a week, yoga 3 times a week > and crunches, > squats, etc and haven¹t been able to lose an ounce since I switched to > armour in October... > I am on 90 mg armour and .56 mg of straignt levoxyl too - > What dose did you start on and how long to work up to the 3.75 of armour. > How are your labs? > It¹s always good to see someone who can lose weight with hypo! > Sue > > > On 12/29/06 11:02 PM, " " wrote > > > > > > > > > > >> > How long did it take you to lose the 13lb? > > > > it only took about4 weeks. Guest guest
It’s amazing how you can be at that dose of 3.25 grams of armour with mid range labs— and under 150 lbs when I am over that now and my t3f is high end and my tsh about .3 at 1-1/2 grains of the armour in early Dec. My t4f is still at low end that’s why I added in straight t4 with the levo in november/december – we shall see... Thanks! Sue i started at 60mg, and worked my way up slowly, i started taking A in May 06 you need to stay at each dose increase about 4 wks, depending on your symt and temps. i started working out in May of 04 , i had lost the 25lbs and i think most of that was because i changed my eating habits, after that i did not lose any weight although i got stronger, it was very depressing, my temps were about 97.4-97.6 which is not good for weight loss, when i got to 3.25g my temps started coming up, the last labs i had my TSH was 0.50 and my Frees were mid range, i need to work on getting my Frees in the upper range. if you increase to fast or by to much at a time it can give you hyper sym. i tried going from 3.0 to 3.5 and had to back down to 3.0 for a few days and then i increased by .25g at a time i hope this helps. renee > .. Guest guest
Hi E. I am thinking of upping my T4 as well... I am at 1/2 of a .112 pill of levo and 90 mg of armour. I feel I need more t3 too. Fruit on your laptop? Real fruit or pictures like of fruit of the loom underwear: LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remote for a laptop – I have heard of those --- guess for those who can’t bring them selves to reach the keyboard from their lap? I dunno........... Maybe to hook up to your tv to watch movies? I am a MacAddict so I don’t “do” PC... Sue Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sue: I've decided the 62.5 mcgs were not enough after 45 days...so I'm going for the next easy split...which is like 71.25 mcgs. Guest guest
Sue: I think you should see where you are going before you do anymore adjustments. I'm doing this...but have been really back and forth about it. If you remember, I spent two months taking subpotent pills and that put me in real set- back mode. I feel really spacey still, so I'm way behind you in getting to the gym. You are doing pretty good there...so there is less room for improvement...less need for bold moves. I am gonna watch myself for hyper symptoms. It can take a while for all the cells to get with the program...so I'm crossing my fingers that I'm doing the right thing. There is a blue...apple in the corner of my screen...and my laptop is black....does that help you identify what I have here? I just ordered from website that has good deals. I feel like I spent too much, but I need the thing for my business. Do you have a separte keyboard...so you can type fast. This one is making me...make mistakes. I am doing low carb again. I'm not sure how much I wiegh...but I think its 106 or 107lbs. I need to get a scale...to know for sure. I eat cookies and crackers as my fun food. Everthing else is pretty strict accept for the bit of orange juice I put in my vitamin drink. I hope to get my braces off before I my new license photo taken. The lady who cuts my hair cut it unevenly again.... I think I might avoid her for now on..even though she was cheap. Crooked hair is not really good. Right? My new cell phone doesn't light up when you have a message. THAT is stressing me out. The entire company...doesn't have a single one to sell me. I complained..... My friend is coming over today to bring me a christmas gift. I wonder what she got me?? Did I tell you how mortified I am for how I acted at the Christmas Party? I know I'm not ready to be around people. ~E:) --- JustYourTypeDTP justyourtypedtp@...> wrote: > Hi E. > I am thinking of upping my T4 as well...
