Guest guest
Now that my place is organized, homework is up to date, family stuff good again and my meds are under controll I really want to do this. Ok I really want to be a speaker and go to schools and organizations and hospitals to speak about CHARGE and Deafblindness. I know I can write, but how do I go to these places and speak? I am looking for any guidence I can find Essay/talk ideas How to teach children about dissabilities and not being afraid of dissabled kids/adults (for teachers and parents) Talking to children about tollerence/acceptence of peers with dissabilities. CHARGE and Deaf/blindness for teachers and college/uni students CHARGE and Deaf/blindness for students if they have a student in a school with deafblindness Understanding the charge teen/adult (doctors, parents) CHARGE/Deafblindness understanding what its like to be dissabled (Highschool kids workshop) Adults with dissabilities... the forgotten group... letter to the Hamilton Spectator and possibly other dissability group newsletters. These are just some of the ideas ive come up with. I dont really mind if others have all ready come up with their own versions of these topics. My essay/talks are going to be from my own point of view. Now I need to write these essays and maby CHARGE canada or CDBRA can find me places that would like to hear me speak. I would do it vollentarily. However I would take donations for CHARGE canada and then CHARGE canada can put more money for getting us CHARGE individuals to conferences. -- http://spacecatsgarden.blogspot.com/ => My blog space
