Guest guest
I had problems with my hemorrhoids after surgery but it cleared up. It was the worst they have ever been. I wonder if it wasn't the change in our BM's, it could have irritated them. it may have been the hard hospital bed or both combined.

Guest guest
Dear Lynn, I swear by A&D oinment. It's for chapped skin, diaper rash and is packed with, you guessed it! Vitamins A & D. It's very greasy (like vaseline) and has a cod-liver smell because it has fish oil in it. But let me tell you something.. IT WORKS! It's very, very soothing and heals just about any kind of chafing/skin irritation problem. I used it with all four girls during diaper changes and I don't think we had more than five cases of diaper rash between four girls in twelve years. It's that good. The hemorrhoids start with straining and pushing with hard stools or constipation. Make sure you're drinking enough water and getting enough fiber in. It's hard to do this when we don't eat that much anymore and a lot of our foods are soft. You can try stool softeners or add a fiber laxative to your diet. Don't take your fiber drink with your protein or you'll wash the protein out of your intestines. Take good care and I hope you feel better soon. Love, Trace in Va. Beach, VA Dr. Schechner, Va. Guest guest
---What do you mean am I sure it's " only " hemorrhoids? I've had them before, so I'm fairly certain that's all this is. My husband had this bleeding a while back, and he was given the Prep-H, and some kind of cream to stop the bleeding, and told to use the doughnut pillow, which I'm sitting on now. They don't hurt now, but last week they really did, but was not bleeding this much. The pain went away when I started using the Prep-H. I'm wearing two minipads side by side. Guest guest
Okies -thats what I wanted to know - if you were sure it was hemorrhoids and not internal bleeding. Poor sweetie - nasty stuff - probably they game him some kind of a cortisone cream - which would help slow/stop the bleeding. Guest guest
Lynn, Yes, they were. My BM's were soft and I think the change was just too much. They healed and haven't bothered me since. I have five children and my last pregnancy I had fifteen pounds of twins. My hemorrhoids were never as bad as they were after GB Surgery. I am five months out and minus 98 pounds. I feel totally wonderful. Blessings,

Guest guest
---I'm 14 months postop. I had no trouble after surgery. I wonder if trying to " control gas " , LOL, could have done this. I went through a period of a few weeks with almost uncontrollable gas. I'd actually take extra pants to change into at work. LOL. Guest guest
--- It hasn't been as bad today as it was last night. I've been using the Prep-H more than I had been, and I came home early from work tonight so I'm gonna try the icepack like someone suggested. I remember years ago, when I was pregnant, that's what my doc had me do, but I wasn't bleeding then. My husband recently had this trouble, and he was just given a cream to stop it, and told to use the Prep-H. Gonna try that. Thanks. Guest guest
--Thanks so much. I have some here, I'll try that too. LOL. I already take a stool softener daily. I think there was a time about 3 weeks ago that I was constipated, I remember hurting. But I found by chance, LOL, that if I eat a small bowl of Fruit 'n Fiber I go within an hour. LOL. It's like magic. So, I don't have that problem anymore, just this one that must have started from that one. Thanks. Lynn - >

Guest guest
Yes, but not like you say yours are. The Prep-H or Tucks either one gave me NO relief, but the Hemmorrid was great, it's made for women and it will be in the femine hygene isle. > >Reply-To: GastricBypass-InfoCentral >To: GastricBypass-InfoCentral >Subject: Re: Please! help... bleeding hemorrhoids* sorry, but >graphic >Date: Sun, 06 Apr 2003 23:41:19 -0000 > >---Thanks. Guest guest
Lynn anucort suppositories help to shrink and stop the bleeding of hemorrhoids. Really check with the doc if it keeps up tho, you may have to have a couple removed. Let us know ok? The anucort supps have a steroid cream in them too, they work well cause they will also work on any internal hemorrhoids you have. I feel your pain!!!!!!!!! LOL Phyllis Re: Please! help... bleeding hemorrhoids* sorry, but graphic --- It hasn't been as bad today as it was last night.
