Guest guest
Oh dear- I am so deeply moved by these recent incidents. Everyone has the awareness in varying depths that life is ephemeral and truly out of our control - but the majority don't live with it as a daily reality with such intensity as we do. I seemed to have completely forgotten how would turn blue depending on the position of his head, or the gripping fear as he would try to dislodge an airway obstruction as an infant and a toddler..... it has ebbed away. I have joked with a friend that my life is truly abundant with blessings, but the blessings are so cleverly cloaked. People without the challenges I have had would not recognize my most cherished blessings, but more likely would fear them. I am ever and continually grateful that my experience parenting and caretaking for has only increased my sensitivity and capacity for joy, grace, mercy, gratitude and blessings. I trust such gift shall also be yours, and I will keep Tate, Chrystine and your families warmly in my heart, prayers, wishes and longings - for joy, wholeness, radiant health, peace and a long string of uninterrupted completely medically uneventful, deliciously ordinary days...... with the greatest love - yuka
Guest guest
Yuka, I couldn't have said it better myself. (No really, those words were truly inspiring, right on target, and amazingly eloquent.) May God bless Tate, Chrystine, and their families. Thanks for finding the words that I sometimes cannot, ina, mom to Luca (3.5) & Vinny (1.5 w/ cHARgE) --- Yuka Persico wrote: > Oh dear- > > I am so deeply moved by these recent incidents. > Everyone has the awareness in varying depths that > life is ephemeral and truly out of our control - but > the majority don't live with it as a daily reality > with such intensity as we do.
