Guest guest
I just got home from my 7th cardioversion a few minutes ago. I'm still a bit dopy from the drugs and a very unrestful night of sleep last night but I'm in NSR for the first time in 10 days. I'm hoping it lasts this time but I have to admit that I'm skeptical. The longest run of NSR I've had in 2 months was four days the week before last. Maybe this time it will stick, though. God knows I could use a break. I just don't know if He's ready to give me one yet. Say a prayer for me… Garrett
Guest guest
You are definitely in my thoughts, Garrett, rest and be well. Perhaps watching a funny movie or a Frasier re-run (my personal before-bed ritual...) will help you relax. Lil In a message dated 5/10/2006 11:59:59 A.M. Guest guest
I'm actually fairly relaxed. I guess I'm adjusting to this new reality. Of course, I'm still in NSR too. I'm hoping it stays that way for a good long time, like the next 40 or so years, but we'll see. Thanks for the suggestions, though Garrett > > > > You are definitely in my thoughts, Garrett, rest and be well. Guest guest
Garrett, what type of drugs are they giving you to hold you in NSR? Ditto on the prayer. Guest guest
I'm on 240mg Sotalol 2x daily and 240mg Cardizem 1x daily. Now, whether that is to hold me in NSR is another question. They started me on that cocktail to prevent the tachycardia attacks I was having with disturbing regularity and they seem to work well for that. I sometimes wonder if the sotalol isn't working too well, slowing me down too much and maybe kicking me into the A-Flutter thythm my heart seems so found of.
