Guest guest
Hi Everyone. I started my Chemo treatments two weeks ago tomorrow, and I was hoping to have hair for Christmas.... On Saturday I noticed more hair in my brush and today, I'm running my fingers through my hair and getting large amounts of shedding hair. I have long hair, and if it's going to fall out this quickly, I'm thinking it might not be worth getting my hair cut, believing it might be easier to sweep up long hair than short? Your suggestion would be appreciated on how you handled hair lose? I tried asking my 18 year old son if he would like to cut it for me, as he cuts his own hair and he said NO WAY.. Although he would agree to shave my head with his buzzer, I don't think I'm ready for that yet. So I'm adding HAIR to my Christmas list. Did everyone else lose their hair this quickly after the start of Chemo? Hugs to all whom share in this group. I appreciate that you are all out there and sharing your stories.
