Guest guest
People with disabilities should live and work with everyone else.My big brother, , is in high school. He will graduate, go to college, get a job, and have a home and family of his own. When I grow up, I want to work and live on my own too.I have a helper at school. I may need help to do my job and live on my own. I don't want to stay with my parents or move far from them to a group home or an institution.I want my own place where I can choose what I do, what I eat, who my friends are, and when I will go to bed.My mom says that some people get the help they need. But only a few. There isn't enough money to help very many people with disabilities.I learned about Luther King Jr. He said that all people should be treated equally. But some children with disabilities go to school in classrooms separate from the other kids. Some people with disabilities have to live in institutions far from their families. Many people with disabilities can't get the help they need to work and live on their own. Guest guest
Ok - so the brochure didn't go through as formatted with photos as everything. It's just the text from it. But you get the idea. Michele

Guest guest
- I'll share your comments. She loves hearing that other people appreciate what she's done. You know, she's a bit of a prima donna - but in a totally lovely way! I don't know how she pulls that off, but she does :-) Michele _____ From: CHARGE [mailto:CHARGE ] On Behalf Of Keedy Sent: Friday, February 09, 2007 10:49 AM To: CHARGE Subject: Re: Inside of Aubrie's brochure This is so profound, Michele. Guest guest
Crystal- Hopefully, Eva's future will be bright and full of possibilities! The good news for our girls is that we have some time. When your life settles a bit and you have time, join us in the work. I don't think I've added you to the Family Support Network database. If you'd like to get our mailings and keep up with things, send me your contact info off-list.
