Guest guest
at around 8pm, chrystine's fever rose to 106.3-i called an ambulance, but they took too long so we took her in the car at about 95 mph. she had several febrile seizures. she is in the icu with a kidney infection. it's very dangerous for her because she only has one functioning kidney. she has to have a cat scan tomorrow morning to see if the fever affected her because of the seizures. my little baby. she'd had a little fever all day... didn't feel much like playing. she laid down for a nap at about 7, and i wanted to check on her. i found my little girl laying in vomit awake and quietly weeping. when i saw the thermometer keep rising higher and higher, i felt like i was helpless, frantic. god, how i love her. she's been hospitalized over 30 times in her 15 months, but i've never felt like i might lose her until tonight. chrystine waves bye bye after someone leaves, she loves to tug on my hair while she's going to sleep, and she is my inspiration and my hero... 106.3-this was one of the most emotional nights of my life. chrystal

Guest guest
Chrystal, Chrystine will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know the worry about a kidney infection...Evan only has one and it doesn't function normally. She is a strong little girl and we will pray she comes out of this unscathed.
