Guest guest
Today I had my 6 month post ablation check up with my EP. He confirmed my thoughts that I am not cured. I have had 14 post ablation afib events since November 2005. However, all is not lost. The ablation has made a tremendous improvement in how afib affects me. The afib events last a day or less. They are very mild. I can do almost anything I want when in afib, and I convert on my own now. The NSR period in between the afib events is getting longer. There is still an outside chance that they could stop. I consider my ablation a great success. I want to tell everyone who is thinking about having an ablation, that there is a lot to be gained even if you are not cured. Earl
Guest guest
Earl: That's about the same amount of time I went through when my first ablation " failed. " So the second took place about two months later and it was a complete and total success. Look down the line :-) Lew Koch At 08:04 PM 5/9/2006, you wrote: >Today I had my 6 month post ablation check up with my EP. He confirmed >my thoughts that I am not cured.
