Meagan update

Hi everyone! Just a quick update on Meagan. Since she has been home,

she has been sleeping through the night...much needed for us all.

She has lost around 2 pounds, and we are trying to get them back on

her. Yesterday was a rough day on her. Pain is still a big part of

Meagan's days. She also wants nothing to do with any of us, except

for daddy. This is a huge blow to my " mommy ego " ! So, I spend the

majority of the day and night cooking and cleaning while he sits by

her side...yes there is a bit of bitterness about it all, but I am a

grown woman and I am trying to remind myself of this frequently. We

removed her bandage today. All looks well underneath. The incision

is bigger than the last, needing 35 stiches to hold it together.

Once the patch came off, she became mobile once again. She is

starting to scoot again (although not as smooth and speedy as

before). This now allows her to chase around the house, not

cry for him. ....you are a grown woman....
