Guest guest
there were some thoughts expressed recetly about the AF epidemic. In my view the epidemic is real. It is not better diagnostics . AF is a tipping point illness. I mean that a constellaton of factors interact and worsen the situation synergistically. The majority of AF is caused by CVD and we know there are specific lifestyle issues that cause increased risk for CVD. Prevetion of the risk factors for AF is a worthwhile persuit. avoid weekend warrior exercise, alcohol .tobacco, caffien processed food and excitotoxins (articicial sweetenrs and free glutamate ) see this intresting article on caffien and exercise.
