Guest guest
Hey , Wow! reminds me of 2 or 3 other CHARGE friends of mine (1 of them is in this group and his mom too, another 1 is his mom in this group), cool man! Okay, to answer your questions....I still live with my mom all these years as usual, lol! Learning Independent Living is gonna be my next biggest challange! I guess people with disabilities, have a hard time to move out and live on their own, cuz their parents and/or relatives has protected them all these years, right? When I use sign language, I don't use my voice, I usually keep my mouth straight, cuz I'm a bit self concsious of my facial palsy (I tend to wear my hat a lot) ya know. Sometime, I tend to mouth out the words, but sometime it's a bit hard to understand me with facial palsy, so there's no point of me doing that. Yep, me and my friends are video games freak, lol! I got nintendo gamecube, gameboy advance sp, and also nintendo ds too! I wanted get PS2, XBOX, XBOX 360, and/or WII, but they're all so expensive, sigh! So, my friends got those, and I get to go to their house and play with their games! Cool huh? I used to build legos stuff, knex for a short time then somehow stopped, sigh! I guess I have to buy a new set, and start building a new 1, huh? I like building stuff, it keeps me busy, keep my brain busy building it too, cool man! Are you guys from Pennsylvania or Philipeldelphia? I got another Charge friend that lives in Pennsylvania, his mom email me sometime. But, he also goes to a deaf school too! Oic, ASL writing...I seen those before. I got a gf with Charge and learning disability, she tend to write like that. Don't worry, I understand it's okay. Are you living on your own or with you parents? L.A. is a big place. Our daughter, Dawn, lived in L.A. for about 5 years when she got out of college. We went to visit her once there. It was nice to visit but I'm a small town girl and prefer small towns. loves football (Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles), Nascar, horseback riding, bowling. He bowls on a all deaf league during the winter. He has a computer, playstation 2, gameboy, gamecube, and loves to make things with legos. He's pretty good with the legos and can make working ferris wheels and that kind of stuff without any directions to go by. Pretty amazing and he has won prizes for them at a local fair. He has allot of deaf friends who he communicates over the computer with. He works for Giant Food Stores on Wed. and Fridays 6 hours a day. Communicating though this message board may be to much for but I will talk with him about emailing with you directly. He signs all the time so his writing tends to be in ASL also. Do you understand what I mean by that? If you email him you have to keep things pretty simple and short. He also instant messages so maybe we can hook you up that way too. Hope to hear from you again. mom to (31) > > Hey , > My name is Chip Dixon. I'm from Los Angeles, Ca. I haven't met you/haven't heard from you before. Wow, dang man! I look more like a teenager than an adult, due to slow growth and low weight gain too! > You got a chow mix, cool man! I also got a chow mix name Sasha, but her haircut/hairstyle make her look more like a shar pei mix than a chow, lol! I haven't met/heard of before. Can you please tell us more about you guys?
