hi everybody,

on wednesday of last week nathan had pink eye{or so they thought}we

were given drops to use i used them he got worse on monday he had a

follow up with the doctor by the time i reached the doctors office

nathan was in severe respitory distress they gave him oxygen and

called 911 we were rushed to the hospital they continued the oxygen

they soon noticed his heart rate was dropping {it dropped to 79}

they called his dr he came took a look at him and said it was lack

of oxygen the longer he remained on oxygen the better his heart rate

got they did a test for rsv and found nothing they tested for a

couple other things and again found nothing they came to me and said

we need to do a spinal tap to test for menegitist and told me it

would take 48 hours for the results so nathan was admitted to the

picu iv was started and even more bloodwork was done everything was

negetive they did one test and found what they thought to be

bacteria tested again and found nothing they said it was a

contamination finally today i was told he has no infection just

severe respitory distress they dont know why and they never called

in his specialist to look at him anyway after a 5 day stay in picu

nathan was released today and is now home its been a long 5 days i

want to wish those who have had birthdays a happy birthday and to

those with children still in the hospital i wish you good luck and

wish you home soon take care everybody

Glad to hear he's home! It's so unnerving to not get an answer! I hope he

continues to feel better as the days go by! And mommy, I hope you get some

much deserved rest!!

name will break my heart. Unknown
