Hey, let's shut everybody down who says anything we don't agree with! Yeah!

That's the ticket.

Boy, I sure don't want to be shut down, so from now on I'll only post things

that are nice and non-controversial.

So here's todays post.

Well, the sun came out and we sure were glad to see it. Medic 1 made a call

and got there safely in 3:20, and the patient sure was happy. They gave

oxygen, which everybody agreed was non-controversial and couldn't hurt the

patient. They took the patient to the hospital, got there safely, and the

patient

felt much better and was very happy about everything. The hospital people

were so glad to see our crew and the patient, that they let them all know how

happy they were.

I talked to several EMS managers today, and they all said how much they love

their employees and are seeking ways to improve their salaries and benefits.

They all think that will be forthcoming.

I also talked to some employees, who feel that they are being paid more than

enough for what they're worth, and they all love their supervisors and

managers and hope that the service makes lots of money for the people who own

it.

Several also mentioned now nice the trucks and equipment that they have are.

A couple of our recent patients called to apologize for having called the

ambulance and bothered us, but we assured them that we were all happy and glad

that they chose to call us at 2:46 in the morning. Everyone is happy.

Well, the Texas Legislature is in session, and boy am I happy. We can

always expect good things from them, especially where EMS is concerned. Also,

just a note about the great job our Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of

the House are doing with regard to EMS. They really have our interests at

heart.

That's about all there is for today. But tomorrow I'll post the good news

again.

Be happy and glad that things are so good for us. Thanks for all you do.

Dr. Pangloss.
