Guest guest
I have some good news! My mom is now working part-time with free time on her hands. She's willing to compile the data we get once we figure out the questionnaire about services/supports/etc. So I will try to get some work done on this in the near future. Knowing we have someone who can handle the incoming data and compilation makes the task of getting the initial survey together seem more do-able. I'll keep you all posted as I proceed. If you don't remember - we talked about doing a survey basically asking the dx and age of the child, what supports/services they've gotten in the past, are getting or need now, and what is expected in the future. The idea is that the info can help us compare what our kids are getting with what other similar kids are getting or have gotten. Sometimes, we don't even realize the kinds of help our kids could benefit from until we hear about it from someone else. Guest guest
Michele, A big thanks to your mom for offering to help out! It will probably give her a great deal of satisfaction, too. My offer still stands to help out with the questionnaire once you start drafting it. , mom to (5) http://kauffmanlak.blogspot.com/ --------------------------------- Never miss an email again! Yahoo! Guest guest
- I'll be taking you up on that. Look for more info in the near-ish future. Kick me in the butt if you don't hear anything in a few weeks.
