Examples being osteitis fibrosa cystica, which results in pain and sometimes pathological fractures, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and arthritis. " Abdominal groans " refers to gastrointestinal symptoms of constipation, indigestion, nausea and vomiting. Hypercalcemia can lead to peptic ulcers and acute pancreatitis.
