Guest guest
Jeff will be sad that you left him all alone n I had some wonderful coffee last night as well... Dinner was pretty good too.. I'd forgotten the taste of venison.. and he made S.O.S... but over French Fries instead of toast or mashed taters.. Earl is a great cook, but I can't seem to get him to understand that all the spices that I love.. don't like me right now.. but I eat, tell him it's great (cause it is).. then find the bottle of Acid Reducer.. LOL.. Coffee.. now that was the stuff can be ordered over the internet.. begins with a G.. specialty blends.. 's boss sent it home with him, because he was going to throw it away.. So made me some Pecan Torte Coffee.. was pretty tasty.. not something I want daily though.. Think I'll try the Pumpkin Cinnamon next.. I'm glad you had a wonderful evening.. it's nice to be able to get out and about and talk to people.. rather than critters.. I have to remind .. that he's got to start the conversations round here.. cause I got nothing new to start a conversation with.. LOL.. It sounds like you had a great evening.. Guest guest
http://www.pridemobility.com/jazzy/ Mine is like this one, only the "joystick" is on the left, and the color of the base is deep purple..Might work best to copy and paste the link into your browser, though if clickingworks that is faster.I have severe spinal stenosis, peripheral neuropathy from feet to knees, sciatica, and the beginnings of post-polio syndrome--so my doctor and theevaluator at the local Rehabilitation. Guest guest
For some reason I had a hard time accessing the website, but I'm pretty sure I know what you are talking about now. I originally wanted a "Jazzy", but the guy who came out talked me out of it and proceeded to "customize" another model for me. He had a long list of features he kept asking me if I wanted, and explained why I should have it. So I said okay, and by the time he was done, which I didn't find out every part he named had a huge price tag on it, and the chair ended up costing around $15,000!!!! OMG!!! My insurance paid for all but $2500. We had to make payments on it, and I was so upset because I felt like they had not only ripped off my insurance company, but I ended up not getting this "custom" chair the way I needed. I should have complained, but when I called and told them I really wanted a gel pad instead of the air pad the guy said would be better, they said I had to come in for an evaluation, and who knows how much that would have cost? Don't know why they can't just swap the seats out? And they never did bring me my seat belt. :-( I liked the Jazzy. Hugs from Jackie in Oregon Subject: Re: n has wheels! Guest guest
You guys don't EVEN want to know what my chair was billed out at then, do ya??? For whatever reason, I only have a verbal on the price billed, what insurance paid (though I suspect I know the reason now.. after getting a collection call from the company.. for something I wouldn't have agreed to in the first place, let alone know about any co-pay.. there wasn't supposed to be any).. But I was told 26k billed price.. insurance paid 19k.. haven't seen any paperwork on anything cause the insurance stuff goes to the X's house.. since they can't seem to get the address for me right in their system.. And Akiba...you might have got n on the sent/cent thing.. but refer below.. don't think is's is a word.. at least not in the English language.. so I gotcha!.. Hugs from Jackie in Oregon From: Akiba Subject: Re: n has wheels! Guest guest
I got tired of the lies and the constant mooching. I have $6 left to my name, haven't been able to pay the att bill, am out of milk and almost out of water, all because I have had to pay for EVERYTHING. Got tired of it, asked him to chip in and he said "no way". So he's on his own. All I asked him for was $50 a week in either cash or groceries and $50 a month toward utilities. Considering the utilities ALONE usually total more then the total I was asking from him, well, where do YOU know of that you can have room and board for $250 a month? Your own room, food, wifi, cable...the works...all I was asking is the occasional ride to the store and basically for him to replace what he uses...but no, he wants it all...free. So I told him not to come back, that he is not welcome here. Robbin heartily agrees. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- Re: n has wheels! Guest guest
I'll move in with you with that deal! And men can be (sorry to all you guys in the group that aren't like this) such asses at times! It's good that he's gone, and much better for your peace of mind and emotional stability as well.. You don't need the stress.. something I was looking up this morning.. Stress can send us into and "Emotional Liability" state.. and much worse as well.. So you're better off without him there.. just don't burn "all" the bridges.. he might come in handy someday for something.. and as soon as I figure out what.. I'll let ya know.. <grin> HUGS |)onna Was not meaning to make light of your situation.. I got tired of the lies and the constant mooching. Anyway, read the latest update in the continuing saga...the bad penny is trying to return, but on MY terms! He's still at his moms, I know that won't last, he's paving the way "home".
