Cochlear Implant Reimplantation

Hi

Cameron has had his implant for 10 yrs now with very limited success - he can

pick up some enviromental noises.

This week we meet with the CI Team to discuss the possibility of reimplantation.

They cannot tweak his present device any further. A newer model would give them

a lot more scope to enhance his hearing.

But ... therre is a chance that he could lose what very little hearing he has.

For those of you who have been done this track, was it worth it?? Did it help??
