Guest guest Posted April 29, 2006 Report Share Posted April 29, 2006 I was quite impressed this time - they pumped with metoprolol and a short while after I converted from 140 bpm to 56 bpm. I asked the dr. when you should go to emerg if you are not in discomfort, no shortage of breath or any chest pains. In his opinion the longer you leave it the longer it will take to convert back. As mentioned in previous post went to emerg was converted back and now this morning my heart rate is back to 137. I`m on a low dose (.0125) of metoprolol.
