Guest guest
hello all, finally a minute to write more than a couple of words. lets start w/ tim--went to the local ent this am to get wax from ear--the right one which has the prosthesis has scar tissue and builds up by 4 weeks of being cleaned. he has a cold so cold med./ cough and nose spray--his nose is a lovely goey yellow. so , will do him good to be home today would have taken him to school, but liam has 1/2 day. so, limited on travel time. will go feb. 2 to chop to see ent and ask about removal of scar tissue in rt ear. anyone had this experience? he is doing well in school--but are starting ( for 2 weeks ) mult. and division---what fun!?!?! he gets it one minute and just spews out the answers w/o thinking the next minute it's as if I'm speaking french!!! makes homework alot of fun--especially when he comes home w/ 3 pages!!!! of course if he has real trouble and I can't take anymore we don't do it all--the teachers understand. he is enjoying basketball clinic--but is sooooooo bad--poor upper body strenght and coordination--he can't dribble, but is getting better catching the ball and tries to shoot--the coach helps the ball make it in the basket. pat and I went yesterday and booked tickets for california--we leave kansas city on the 25th and go back the 31st--so we get some play time too!!! we were hoping to leave from wichita, which is only 2 1/2 hrs from my paretns vs 4hrs, but they were $200 more each!!!! so, we drive, but we can stay w/ my cousin and he will take and pick us up. I am soooo excited and I am not letting pat back out on this one!!! I am subbing quite abit to save up some $ and of course pat is working the overtime before the lay off. gets laid off tonight I think --unless they change their minds which is possible. Deb matasker--are you going to the conference? Tim won't be going to camp marcella this year--he's going to camp grammy and bop with liam and keegan. well, hope all are well--
Guest guest
- I am so thrilled that you have your tickets bought!!!!!!!!!! Timmy doing homework sounds a bit like Aubrie. It's frustrating for me (and for her). I think she knows she should be getting this stuff. She sees other kids in her class getting it. And sometimes she gets it one minute and doesn't the next. Sometimes she has the patience to keep trying and other times she's ready to pull her hair out - well, actually, she prefers to hit her head or bite me :-) What questions do you have about the scar tissue surgery? If it's like Aubrie's middle ear surgery, it'll be no big deal. The dr went in through her ear drum - so no incision or stitches - fixed things up and that was it. Guest guest
just wondered if anyone had the surgery done. I didn't think it would be a big deal--but it will be a surgery--and as he gets older he understands more and frets more. maria RE: tim etc - I am so thrilled that you have your tickets bought!!!!!!!!!!
