Guest guest
I have gotten lost on the NREMT website several times. Does anyone know: 1) Can you re-up your NREMT basic by testing with Pearson Vue... or are there a whole bunch of other requirements? 2) Does ACLS and PALS count for the 'Refresher' part of the regular recert process?? Guest guest
To recert you have to have continuing ed and a refresher. In theory you should only test once. If you let you cert lapse you need to retake the test. Now that they offer CBT, it may be easier to take the test and a refresher and forget about the CEs --- Vaughn Ohlman wrote: > > I have gotten lost on the NREMT website several > times. Guest guest
Well, I would have thot it was easier, but when I go to the website I can't seem to get to the part where t hey actually let me sign up for the recert test! I keep seem to get thrown back to the original instructions (ie have taken your basic course within two years, etc.). And the recert instructions themselves just talk about CE's Vaughn steven goldstein wrote: > > To recert you have to have continuing ed and a > refresher. In theory you should only test once. Guest guest
Please note that there are different requirements for National registry recertification and Texas recertification . I'm not sure which of the recerts you have questions about.
