The directions, map, etc are included, and also the point of contact and phone number to get your rooms. The GETAC rate will be $99 instead of the normal $149. Tax-exempt org need to bring a tax-exempt letter with you. PLEASE NOTE that the head count I conducted by email on Monday and Tuesday did not reserve your room, only you can do that with a credit card, etc. YOU MUST call the number below to reserve your room and I would make sure you have a confirmation number, etc. It is first come-first-serve. The headcount I did was simply to give Harrell the total number we would need, so she could negotiate the best possible rate for everyone. PLEASE call these people at the conf center ASAP to reserve your rooms. I typically hate to use all caps but I want you to be sure to call and get your room quickly, so you don't show up and think you have a room and you don't... We will be holding our Disaster TF meeting from 5pm-8pm on Tues 6th, and from 0830-1130 on the morning of Wed the 7th. I don't have the room assignments for the D/EP-TF meeting, but as soon as I have the exact room name, I will get it out to you as well, or you can check at the reception center when you arrive. I hope all of you are also planning on attending the DSHS Stakeholder meeting at 9am to 3:30pm on Tuesday the 6th as well, it will guide the future of both the HRSA BT and CDC Bt funds for the next several years. I am sorry this has taken so long, but there has been a flurry of activity behind the scenes to make this happen and we all need to send Harrell and Steve Janda a thank you for getting this arranged for us. Kennedy ________________________________ Hotel Room Instructions From The Northwest Forest Conference Center , including Check-in procedures & Maps Ask for the GETAC Rooms. In order to make a reservation, call and proceed with reservation. M ake sure you are connected to the Welcome Center, then proceed. Our staff should have their information about the rooms from there. If they are tax exempt, they will need to bring a tax exempt certificate, unless you have one that you want to send for the group. Here are some check-in procedures for the overnight guests that are checking in next week. I have also attached some maps of the property and Houston. Once they arrive at the Conference Center, they will proceed through the gates to the Welcome Center, which will be the first building you come to, to check into their rooms. For some reason, if the gates are closed when they arrive, the gate code will be 25372* (star after the number). If they have any trouble with the gate opening, there is a call box by the gate that when picked up will call the Welcome Center and they will be glad to assist you. Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 11am. The Welcome Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we have staff available at all times. The Welcome Center phone number is or .
