Although I am pre op, I had a terrible infection on the site of my C section

scar when I had my son. If the stuff that came out was any color than clear,

it probably is some kind of infection. I had a zit like thing just under my

incision and it exploded like a huge zit when the doctor looked at it. I was

just sickened by the whole incident. I would see a doctor. Better safe than

sorry-there shouldn't be any kind of zits on the scar tissue. The end of your

incision is probably the last to heal and gets stretched and pulled on. I

definitely would see a doctor, to rule out infection.

Dear L.,

Hmm. I don't know. I would keep a close eye on it and do just what

your doing -- washing it with the Dial soap (good ol' Gold Dial!) and use

your antibiotic ointment/cream twice a day.

If the discharge continues or the area around the bump gets red (or

you get a fever) call your doc/surgeon ASAP.

Hope you feel better soon.
