I think the professor might get a bit mad if I passed out free samples of DDT to

everyone. :-)

Paraquat herbicide poisoning, in the later stages, often results in respiratory

distress secondary to pulmonary fibrosis. While it seems obvious to administer

oxygen to such a patient, the supplemental oxygen often fuels the production of

free oxide radicals, worsening the pulmonary fibrosis.
