Texas EMS Rural EMS providers and small hospitals are eligible for a Texas

Rural EMS Grant for the Street Level Airway Management (SLAM) Express One-Day

Workshop.

The following are eligible for the grants:

Rural EMS Provider Organizations (Paid or Volunteer)

Rural Fire Department-based EMS (Paid or Volunteer)

Rural hospitals with fewer than 50 licensed beds

Rural first responder organizations

Rural State-approved Training Facilities

Cost of the SLAM course is $300 per student plus an equipment shipping fee.

Also available is a SLAM Express Instructor Course.
