Guest guest
I've heard the story, but I don't know anything else. Without being crass, they didn't find any dead homeless folks and there were no dead cops, so it (hopefully) wasn't that bad of a deal. Will be an interesting story to follow. Guest guest
NEWS FLASH! AUSTIN (AP) BULLETIN 1929 01/09/2007. Investigators announced this evening that the County Medical Examiner's Office had determined that the bird deaths earlier reported were the result of a mass bird suicide. Investigators reportedly found a claw-scratched note stating that the birds were going to commit suicide in protest of the opening of this year's session of the Texas Legislature. The bird is said to have written that he and his sisters and brothers would rather be dead than endure the mindless and toxic actions of the legislative body and The Texas Governor. Fearing a mass " copy-cat " surge in self-immolations from human sympathizers, the Austin/ County Mental Health Department began to assemble and deploy community mental health resources to offer counseling and tranquilizers to persons at risk. Several Democrats were seen running through the streets in obvious panic, but none were able to be apprehended, and their fate is unknown at this time. Meanwhile, at Dallas City Hall, observers noted that the resident birds had not exhibited any behaviors suggesting a sympathy protest, other than a seeming increase in the fecal deposits being left on the bodies of the bums sleeping in the City Hall Courtyard. > > > > The State of Texas State Operations Center (SOC) received an update to > the dead bird situation in Austin, County.
