Any time a candidate certify or recertify a background check has to be

performed so there may be a delay. Please have these individuals who are

waiting

on their recertification contact one of the certification personnel I have

listed below to see if there is a problem. Usually if there is a problem

someone from this division or EMS Compliance will contact the individual for

additional information.

If there is a delay in the recertification process and we have received the

candidate's application and funds, and if the member is about to expire we

will continue their certification administratively then they can continue to

perform their EMS duties until they have been recertified.

I just got really teary eyed Maxi, in almost 17 years of being an " Ambulance

Driver " I have found it to be quite rare that the head of our regulatory

body has been so accessible to the masses as you are.

Thanks for that, and it sure goes to prove that we are better off being led

by " one of our own " .
