Guest guest
Hello, I am a little confused with the initial licensure application. It gives the impression that you must have not only have a degree but also hold a NREMTP cert. in order to apply. The application type section asks that you check the appropriate choice: Initial licensure, out-of-country equivalency or reciprocity. The initial licensure sections has a place for a NR card number and exp. date, state course approval number, completion date and course location. I do not currently hold a NR certification and my initial course was about three recerts ago. The certification history section is for reciprocity and out-of-country applications only. Any help to clear this up would be appreciated. I was under the impression that the little certified paramedic who becomes educated could apply for licensure. The main confusion is with the application, no area for state certification numbers only NR numbers. Thanks, Mike S. P.S. - Sorry for the lengthy posting.
