Guest guest
Karyn, You are not alone in confusion and anxiety.... I was just started on amiodarone, an anti arrythmic drug, and cannot be seen by the specialist perhaps for a month or more, and I am going on a trip to England in 4 weeks. He may not be able to see me before I go. My cardio also is booked solid. In the meantime I had some tests done for lung function today as a base line, for them to compare with, for the future, and that turned up something that needs to be checked further. Now I wait to see yet another specialist, if they can work me in before my trip. I was blessed that my cardio's nurse got me referred to a pulmologist immediatly, and as soon as they get the test results, they will TRY to work me in. I cannot imagine going on a trip, not knowing and wondering what else is going on with me. Especially since this particular med can cause lung damage. So it is a waiting game for all of us. This is where I must rely on my Faith in the Lord. He is my rock. MandyofCA --------------------------------- New Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC and save big.
