Guest guest
I just realized reading 's post that very normal things make me feel beyond guilty. The worst is if my boyfriend helps me w something - anything. Isn't he supposed to? I feel like I was put on this earth to wait on other people hand and foot. Oh wait, didn't I spend the first 30 years of my life doing EXACTLY that. Wow, I had no idea I was so well trained. How do we dump the guilt? Guest guest
In the past few months I have started noticing more and more all those guilt feelings in myself that come up in normal conversations. I find myself taking responsibility for everything that didn't get done or whatever goes wrong. I don't think this is new--what is new for me is being able to 'name that feeling.' So I think this is cathartic, as I never realized before just how much *shame* I felt for years, over everything and nothing. Recognizing it helps me to see the absurdity and let it go. > > I just realized reading 's post that very normal things make me feel > beyond guilty. > > The worst is if my boyfriend helps me w something - anything.
