Guest guest
Hi, my name is . I am 29 years old and I have had AF for about 7 years now.(sorry for my english but I am not from the US). Seven years ago, all the procedures were very new and my doctor told me it was betterr to wait since i was very young and healthy. I had a cardioversion but didn´t work and since then I have been under medication. Today I am married, I have pretty much a very normal life, I can work out, travel, work, etc. but since I take coumadin I can´t get pregnant. The doctors have told me that now they know that there is a risk of malformations in the baby caused by the coumadin. So things have changed, after 4 months in a waiting list, I went to the Cleveland Clinic last month. They told me I was a candidate for the ablation and decided to do it. I am still waiting for a final date but it seems I will get one in july. I would like to talk to people who have done the procedure, their experiences, is it painful?, the specialist I am seeing is Dr. Natale, has anyone done the procedure with him? I would also want to talk to a woman that is or was under the same circumnstances (with AFib in a very young age and before having children). Thank you very much
