Guest guest
I was taking 80 mg of Sotalol BID and now it has been increased to 160 mg BID. I noticed very little swelling of the ankles on 80 mg; however, with the 160 mg the swelling is much more noticeable. Is this a side effect of beta blockers? The only new med I have added is 10 meq of Klor Con (potassium) and I have discontinued Norvasc. Thanks. Loretta

Guest guest
Me too! I used Norvasc and my ankles swelled. I have very skinny ankles, and they were swollen every evening on Norvasc. My Internist switched me to another BP med, and they are back to skinny. MandyofCA --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Guest guest
Hi Loretta Yes I believe it is a side effect of Sotolol. I get it but it goes off with rest.
