I have not seen Chantelle's poem, " I Am Holland. " Chantelle, would

you send that to me? And would you mind me sharing it with students?

I've been teaching at the university for a few years, and I love it.

I'm getting my Ph.D. in Special Education so that I can keep doing

it, but with tenure and be able to do my own research. And of course,

families and children are my point of focus, always. I'm in my first

year, but when it nears the time for me to do my dissertation, I hope

you all won't mind me descending upon you for info!! <smile>

called " I am Holland " ? If not, you might want to read it and

consider adding it to your already excellent choices of " Welcome to

Holland " and " Welcome to Beirut " . It would add other vital aspects

to the issues.

you are already having a striking influence on students. Is your

ultimate goal at this time to teach or ?.
