Guest guest
Hi Krista- I had the same situation in delivery, though was full-term. The amniotic fluid shot across the room-nobody there had ever seen that before. I didn't have any pain med's either-no time for them. The really bizarre thing that morning was even though I knew there were significant problems with the baby, when they offered breakfast I took it, and ate every bite, and was happy about it. I don't know if I was in shock or in a state of grace, or just plain finally had room for a meal. haha. Probably all of the above. I guess that was the last " normal " moment of my life, and I was totally absorbed in it. ;-) in Ma. (, 21 yrs)
Guest guest
That's just like my story too! They had just wheeled my baby away in an incubator to the NICU, and the delivery nurse said " You must be famished. Here's the menu. I highly recommend the sherbert milkshakes. " I even remember having waffles and a sherbert shake, and feeling so good that I wasn't pregnant any more (and I knew Evan most likely had some type of syndrome too--we'd been given that news the week before). I don't remember waffles ever tasting so good. mdlinda@... wrote: Hi Krista- I had the same situation in delivery, though was full-term.
