Guest guest
Thank you all for the welcome backs! I'm doing pretty well, but kinda whiney! - how do I get OFF moderation? I've been a member since July, so I'm no longer new. If I'm still on MOD for some other reason, please eMail me and let me know, K? Can't be because I'm a brat, I almost never wave fishies or onions at VItaMa over there . . . But I am sure dreaming of a good cup of gumbo, even if it is totally strained . . . a rich tomatoey broth with okra, smoked or andouille sausage, chicken, shrimp, crab, a little celery, bell pepper, lots of onion, garlic, cayenne pepper, with all the deep, dark, musty, swampy flavors of a good roux . . . It's much cheaper this way - don't need the shrimp or crab, just a few shells; no checken, just a few bones; a slice of sausage; a can of tomatoes, a handful of frozen okra . . . omigawd, I'm making me SOOOOO hungry! Gotta go drink some nasty medicine . . . Hawkridge in Washington State.

Guest guest
Go to that little Italian restaurant near Dr. Oh's office ( can tell you the name, I was on drugs and only remember that it was somewhere near his office). They have a soup there that was to DIE for. Dee & I had a little broth & had all the " stuff " . It was perfect. Not too spicy, not too salty, not too sweet, just wonderful and yummy and incredible. Am I having a soup-gasm here? lol. See what you started? Now I'm gonna have to fly out there for some of that soup!!! ------------------------------------------------ Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.comR http://www.5dollarhosting.com (877)-838-HOST / .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! Guest guest
Jeanne wasn't feeling too good today - tomorrow is another day. Anyway, I'm here to chime in if anybody has any outdoor culinary questions. LOL! Dave (Jeanne's DH & GMC)
