Hello, everyone,

According my doctor, this is correct. If you are in an appropriate INR,

you are in no more danger from bleeding to death than those not on

coumidin. It will take a little bit longer, but your blood will clot.

I've cut myself or had a scrape a few times since on coumidin and I

didn't notice any difference at all. For those who worry about some

internal bleeding that is not detected, that could happen to anyone

whether on coumidin or not and would not be any more life-threatening on

coumidin than off. I have noticed that the cuts and scraps take longer

to heal but I consider that a small price to pay for the security that

being on coumidin gives me. But then, I lived with a grandmother for 15

years and a mother for 3 that had had strokes and have seen first hand

the devastation not only to them but to the family that takes care of

them.

Kathy C. - toprol XL, 50 mg.

Does anyone really believe anything you read on that website? Has anyone had

their fillings replaced yet? Did it cure your AF? The guy looks like a quack

to me who just wants to sell his books.

Hans larsen's forum has some interesting things to say about this

issue;

I find Hans Larsen's website and his bulletins very informative. I

am probably more sceptical than most at quacks, indeed I have

referred to a couple of websites mentioned in the forum - one

promoting Candida treatment and the other anti-statin as quackery.

In general though, it is a very good source for those of us who have

LAF. As with a lot of things, you have to take some of it with a

pinch of salt (preferable lo-salt!)
