He did not have any target words at that point b/c he really couldn't say any words. (He was severe at the time.) We used the hand signals from Easy Does It For Apraxia Preschool (Strode and Chamberlain). Each vowel sounds had a different arm signal. These arm signals were great! Is your child in ST right now? Does your SLP use any sort of and cue-ing for specific sounds?
