Guest guest
Ok, this is for anyone who can provide me with solid documentation. Every time I go to the oncologist's office, when the girl takes my blood pressure, she asks me to uncross my legs. I've searched and searched the Internet, and can't find any significant medical basis for this, just anecdotal " when taking your blood pressure, sit up straight in a comfortable chair with your legs uncrossed. " Soooooo---can anyone tell me WHY this is suggested?? I assigned my class to research this, but if I'm having a hard time finding any basis for it, they probably will too. And what do we do when we can't find the answer to something?? We put it to the brains on the list!! :-) Thanks in advance for your help, Cristi
