About the CHARGE ears and R in CHARGE

Morning guys!

I read your posts about the CHARGE ears and R in CHARGE. Well, I would like

to share you with my experience in those, about what I learned, when 1st

started learing about my diagonosis like almost 10 yrs ago (dang time fly fast,

it's almost 9 yrs since I had been on this group)!

Well, my CHARGE ears aren't that notciable. Just different shapes and sizes,

and a little bit uneven. 1 of my ears is a bit bigger than my other ears, 1 is

higher and another 1 is a bit lower. But, I don't think they're that noticable.

No 1 has ever asked me about my ears, like why is it shaped funny, why it look

different and so on. Just my face they'll ask, and also my balancing and way of

talkling too, right? It's all part of CHARGE Syndrome, don't worry what little

kids or other uneducated doctors says. I don't need a surgery for my ears, not

even for my mouth, cuz both of them aren't that noticable at all, right?

R in CHARGE...hhhmmm...when I 1st started learning about Charge Syndromes,

I noticed the R means retardation in growth, which mean slow growth, right? And

that fit to my description, cuz I got a slow growth too! Not to metion slow

puberty, I look more like a teenager than an adult. I 1st thought it means

retarded, like as in mental retardation, but when I asked around what it really

means, everyone just say, 'it means slow, delay growth/puberty' oic,

RETARDATION OF GROWTH, now I understand. See what I mean? Some of my Charge

friends got some kinds of learning disabilities, along with other diagonosis,

but most others I know like me, just got mild form of Charge. We all got

different IQ levels ya know, God made us the way we are.
