Joe I take Sotalol 160 x 2 and if I go into afib I take 30 mg Diltiazem

which is a calcium channel blocker. I take it to help me convert quicker as

this is what they do for me if I did go to the ER. Cardizem is also a calcium

channel blocker.

I have afib about once a month lately. I have had 8 month spans at times

but then I go back to the once a month to every six weeks. I asked for

something to take when I go into afib and they said I could take the Diltiazem.

have not asked to take it all the time with the Sotalol. I just wanted

something to take as soon as I pop into afib to keep the rate down.
