San Marcos/Hays County E.M.S. is currently accepting applications for the

following full-time positions.

EMT-Basics or Intermediates

Paramedics

All applications must be received by 5:00pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2006.

Please refer to our website at www.smhcems.com to download an application

and for more information about the positions.

Requirements for each position are as follows:

EMT Basic or EMT-Intermediate

Current TDSHS Certification

Acceptable Driving/Criminal Record

BCLS Healthcare Provider

PEPP Preferred

BTLS/PHTLS Preferred

Paramedic

Current TDSHS Certification or License

Acceptable Driving/Criminal Record

BCLS Healthcare Provider

ACLS Preferred

PALS/PEPP Preferred

BTLS/PHTLS Preferred

The hiring process is as follows:

Thursday, July 6, 2006

8:00 am Written Exam (All Levels)

11:00 am Physical Agility Exam (All Levels)

2:00 pm Interviews for applicants making the cut after the written exam and

physical agility exam.

Employment is contingent on passing a post-offer/pre-employment physical

exam and drug test as well as a background investigation. All prospective

employees must furnish an official Department of Public Safety Driving

Record and Criminal History with their application.
