The Clinical Practice Supervisor is our training officer, working under the direction of our Clinical Manager. Much as we hate to say it, RNs have a better general medical education, and if you're ever attempting to expand the knowledge base of your folks that's a pretty good combination. Maybe that's not the reason for that preference at all. It may be as simple as " that's the way we've always done it. " ?
