Guest guest
Hi all, I'm writing this from the hospital. Here I am almost three months out and having no problems whatsoever.... Sunday I was making lunch for my family and bam! A sharp pain on my right side about level with my belly button but on my side. It kind of felt like a bad cramp so I sat down for an hour or so. I then went too some church meetings and it hurt a little but not bad. It was most noticible when I breathed in deeply... I went to work the next day and called my doc at noon and setup an appointment..... Next thing I know...I get a CT scan and they check me into the hospital! I have a super tiny blood clot in my lungs and may have others in my pelvic area they can't see. So I'm on Heprin drip and will be on cumiden for the next half year probably. Kind of a bummer but it could have been worse!

Guest guest
--, I also thought if you made it that far you were out of the woods. This is too scary. Good luck. Guest guest
- I'm sorry to hear about your blood clot, but thankful it was found before it did any serious damage. I guess it just goes to show us that even at 3 months out, we need to be on the lookout for these. You have a great attitude about it. Take care. Jeanne in WI Age 39 - Dr. T. Guest guest
I sure am glad that they caught this right away and you are gettting proper treatment! What surgery did you have? Also, did you get the blood thinner shots after surgery in the tummy? I am wondering, since I am going to be looking at doing this very shortly. Thanks for any info and I will keep you in my prayers. Guest guest
Dear , I'm sooo sorry to read about your blood clot(s) but I'm sure glad that you are okay and they caught them before anything more serious happened. I had DVT (deep vein thrombosis and blood clots after daughter number three. I did the heparin IV and the coumadin (for 13 months) too! You take care and do exactly what your doc says to do,okay?
