Collecting Kids books

Ok, I am sort of letting the cat out of the bag here! lol My friend and I

are in the process of starting our own business. I really would rather not

get into real specifics quite yet as 1. We are trying not to let some...

shall we say certian organziations know about our plans as they may try to

shut us down if they view us as competition and 2. we still have some legal

issues to sort out with copyright.

That being said, we are starting to collect kids books in print,

printbraille, or braille to be used in a lending library here in British

Columbia. We have been scouring booksales, thrift stores and so on for kids

books that we then take apart and transform them into print/braille. Our

goal is to have a signifcant collection before opening up our website for

business. We are also taking board games and transforming them as well.

However, I am NOT asking for donations of those at this time as they will be

much to hard to send via post. If anyone has kids books they simply do not

need anymore and wish to donate them to a good cause, please do consider

donating to us as an option. We just ask for the books to be in relatively

good condition, a little wear and tear on the covers are fine as we do

laminate them to extend their use.

If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact

me at christine-ann@.... Thank you!!!
