Guest guest
Hey- a couple of weeks ago or so we had a Code at the HS. Our SRO, trainers, RN, and a couple of teachers responded. They did picture perfect CPR and AED. The patient was resuscitated and discharged - 100% intact. I'm looking for lifesaving pins for these folks to wear on their nametags. When I was EMS director in Hunt County we had certificates - no pins. Looked at some award places but couldn't find nothing that would do. Does anybody have something they use for civilian CPR/lifesaving efforts? -MH

Guest guest
Several years ago I was working in Albuquerque NM and they had a " club " sortof that was simply any medic that had gotten a TRUE save not an epi rush save wore a pin that had been designed by one of the AFD paramedics. It was a ghostbuster type circle with the line through it and had a grim reaper in the middle around the edge of the top of the circle was written " DEATH FIGHTER " It was a neat pin and everyone at least in the medical community there recognized them and what they ment. Just food for thought if you decide to create something of this nature be sure and post it so we can see it heck you might get a bigger break sharing a large order LOL Good luck For what its worth Terrell EMT-P CC...,...,...,.,....( all the other things that still mean I am a paramedic) Re: Life Saving pins American Heart has (or had) a Life saver certificate.
