Cameron's change of blog address...

Hello! Just wanted to share the address for Cameron's new blog - there's

a link on it to his previous blog's posts. I haven't kept up with the

changes on blogspot but it recently upgraded and somehow I couldn't add

to Cameron's existing blog so I just made a new one. Or maybe I can and

I just couldn't figure it out. Life's too short to sweat the small stuff

like a new blog address so...here is the link

http://cameronwoweeandrew.blogspot.com/

We had a nice New Years - Cameron called it a night at about 10:00pm. He

tried to stay up with the rest of the party but just couldn't. We have

so much to be thankful for - best of all it looks like he's pretty well

potty trained. I feel like we've been on " potty watch: " for almost two

years...and we have. For him it was easier to feel his bowel movements

coming than his bladder which for typical kids is often the other way,

but he is able to stop the flow, realize he needs to go and then tells

me. He still likes to have me in the bathroom with him but he can take

care of things himself. When he does have an accident he tells me that

he's doing his best so I'm grateful for this awareness. I can't believe

he'll be 5 in March and then Kindergarten in the fall.

This list is such a great resource and the support is priceless.

Tomorrow school starts up again and I'm sure he'll tell me he wants to

stay home and home school with his older brother. And then his brother

will be grumpy because he'll miss having his brother around. (Sigh)

that's a bridge I'm not quite ready to cross - homeschooling Cameron.

But we shall take things as they come.

My best to all the families and friends of CHARGE on this list! Thanks

again for your compassion and support! Like (Evan's mom) recently

posted on Evan's blog, I also feel like I have two families - my natural

family and my CHARGE family. Both are truly blessings.

Mom to Cameron, 4 1/2 CHARGE and , 6 1/2.

the new site is wonderful!! I just went and did write a post, but do not have

(and don't want) a google acct., so it would not accept my note. However, what

I said was that it was so nice to see the site and the pics and so nice to read

about your family. thank you for sharing it.

Happy New Year, indeed.

What a lovely post! I'm glad you are in such a good place to start the new

year.

I think Aubrie was about Cameron's age when she was truly potty trained.

And it had been a process of a few years getting there. Brings back lots of

memories.

I can only imagine the challenges of home schooling one child and not the

other. But I can't imagine meeting all of Aubrie's needs here at home.

There are too many specialized services that I simply couldn't begin to

provide. Besides, I think I'd go insane if I didn't have a break from both

of my kids. Bless you for the patience you must have!

As far as having 2 families - I absolutely feel the same way.
