(Emergency & Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Markets)

Reports to: Field Supervisors, Director of Operations

Status: Non-Exempt

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Paramedic/Intermediate works within a team in the delivery of

quality care for emergency and non-emergency patients according to

protocol and standards of care. Ensures consistent and proficient

utilization of medical and communications equipment; maintains a

positive, professional relationship with field personnel,

administrative staff, and associated law enforcement agencies, fire,

and medical personnel; demonstrates a positive leadership role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Ÿ Minimum 21, years of age to operate vehicles

Ÿ Current Valid Texas Driver's License

Ÿ Acceptable Driving Record

Ÿ EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic, or Licensed Paramedic

Ÿ Current certifications (CPR, ACLS)

Ÿ Current PALS, PHTLS, or BLTS preferred
