Moccasin or chronic hyperkeratotic (tinea pedis):

The moccasin or hyperkeratotic type of tinea pedis demonstrates chronic

asymptomatic or pruritic erythema with slight scaling.

This type is named after its moccasinlike distribution; usually both feet are

involved.

The dorsal foot typically is clear, but, in severe cases, some involvement may

extend onto the sides of the foot
