I know I am in the minority, but I don't disapprove of him at all. He may be

" different, " but I don't think he is " bad. " My roomie and I argue about this.

Just going by my gut instincts, and I reserve the right to be wrong. *G*

PS. , I know that you didn't say he was bad, I'm just using your post to

state an opinion about MJ regarding something that is often discussed. :)

I will go on record as saying he is deeply disturbed and should not be in

charge of children. Having seen what he has done to himself, it is pretty

scary to think what he will do (mentally) to the children. Making them go

around with blankets on their heads or wearing masks, dangling from a

balcony, etc. is certainly not normal behavior.

I don't think he's bad either. I laugh at his eccentric ways

because...well, I can't help it...he's just so darn goofy! I do feel sorry

for him, though. I couldn't believe how that Bashir guy ripped him apart

after he'd invited him into his home thinking he was getting a chance to

tell his side of the story and finally let people behind those walls to see

how he lives. That crap was so biased!

I don't know that he should be raising children because he IS so screwy. I

would probably, well almost definitely, lean toward his not raising children

but not because I believe all the allegations. As far as kids sleeping with

an adult who is not their parent, the same rules of normalcy don't exactly

apply when you're if you think about it.

You're a huge pop star and children love, no, they IDOLIZE you. You invite

them (and their parents) to stay at Neverland Ranch. You would have them

all stay in guest quarters but the kids beg both you and their parents to

let them stay in your room with you because the whole day they've run around

the park riding rides with you like you're a big kid, too, and they feel

they're at a sleep over with their favorite best friend in the whole world

(not especially in the same bed; I know he has admitted in the past to

sharing his bed with kids, but in this interview, he definitely said he

slept on the floor and gave his bed to the child...he absolutely did not at

any point say he was in the bed with the child...they both said they argued

about who would get the bed and who would get the floor, and took

the floor.), so of course you and their parents give in when the kids are

begging and you are, after all, .

No, I would not think it normal if my husband, plain old Bob , invited

boys over to spend the night alone with him in his bedroom in our little

two-bedroom house, but he's not , the king of pop,

multimillionaire, living at Neverland, helping kids with cancer and bringing

underpriveledged children to spend a day of wonder at this amazing place and

having them and their parents over for the night where the kids beg to sleep

with him.

Okay, I'll get off my soap box now. <G> I'm just sayin'...it's not the

same. ;D

IMO... I not only think there is something very wrong with a 44-year-old man

inviting other people's children to sleep in his room, but there is

something wrong with these parents who do allow their kids to do so. I don't

care if the man is MJ, the pope, president, or anyone else, I could never

allow my children to go off to sleep with any grown man (or woman for that

matter). I also don't care if this grown man is sleeping on the floor in the

same room, it's just plain wrong!!!

I feel sorry for and the way he has to live his life because

of his celebrity status. Even with all that money, the isolation and tabloid

coverage and etc. must make life a special kind of hell for him.

I felt the Brasheer(sp?) interview was unfairly slanted and I was

pleased to see that had an opportunity to present the situation on

more of an even keel through his own tape of the event, even though he had

no editorial control over the final content of the later shows on him.

I watched all the shows about him and ended up thinking that he has a sad

lonely life and that he was misjudged and perhaps the molestation thing was

something invented to extract a few million from him; that is until I read

the court documents of the molestation case 10 years ago:

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/mjdec1.html

When you get to the page, scroll down to the court document in white, after

reading that document, underneath it in tiny numerals are links 2,3,4 to the

next 3 pages.

I'd appreciate hearing anyone's views after reading the court documents.

They showed the part of the court document where it started talking about

physican contact (tongue in mouth while kissing) on some news show.

Apparently, the investigator on the case said that the child never recanted

and his description of MJ's genitals evidently was correct when they

examined MJ. I really have no comment.

As someone else stated, only MJ and these kids know what went on as they

were the only ones in his bedroom. The investigator also stated that MJ has

an alarm that will go off in his bedroom if someone is approaching the room.

I found that interesting.

Well, I will say that for a 13-year-old, the boy has excellent grammar and

spelling skills! As to whether MJ has ever had sexual contact with male

adolescents, I honestly don't know.

I'm really impressed with his English G & P skills though!

I think this is what I LOVE most about this list. Is we do mostly stay on the

subject of MT and are always ready to help. It is nice to occasionally discuss

other things off topic and not to agree with each other, but it's done in such a

respectful way. I just love you guys.

p.s. How in the heck do so many other stars, rocks stars, raise their kids? I

can think of quite a few....all without masks, being dangled and not paying an

out of court settlement for child molestation....lets not forget that MJ did pay

that.
