Guest guest
Eva is now signing " daddy " " mommy " and " more " she just started more last night. I had her on her excersice ball and was bouncing her up and down and then I would stop and she did it she signed more. SOOOO of course I did it some more. I stopped again and she signed it again. Then when she was eatting her dinner she signed more again. I couldn't get the food in fast enough for her, even when it was gone she wanted more. I am so proud of her, I even tried calling her speech therapist to tell her but she didnt answer. Oh well she will find out when she comes back in 2 weeks. I am also working on baby because she has this baby doll she loves and I sign baby and ask her if she wants it and then show her the baby. She reaches for it but she is not signing it yet but I am sure it will come sooner or later. What a great gift she has given me for Christmas!!! Guest guest
Crystal- I think " more " was one of Aubrie's first signs too! It is so exciting when they use a word with meaning for the first time --- something beyond " mom " and " dad " . Thanks for sharing this milestone! I can't wait to hear " more " -LOL! Guest guest
Thank you all, I love that I can post in here all the cool new things Eva does and I can get a response as great as all of yours. Calling my friends who don't have a child or a child with a disablity and telling them I just dont get the same reaction. Guest guest
Crystal, What fantastic news! " More " is a great word! I don't remember the sequence of sign as it came for . I know that she learned the alphabet as the rest of the family practiced it and eventually, out of the blue, while sitting of the toilet with her therapist in the room, signed " f " and put her finger on the floor. It's an awesome thing to watch. Have fun! Martha
